THE INAUGURAL MUST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE (MUSTIC 2022)

MUST held an inaugural international conference focusing on our University’s commitment to Research and Innovation for Sustainable Development.

The conference was held from Tuesday, 28th to Thursday 30th June 2022. MUSTIC is a hybrid conference converging researchers, innovators, students and key public sector organizations with the knowledge, skills and expertise related to research and innovation. 6 countries united with one goal: to grow together through education.

The conferences Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker was Amb. Simon Nabukwesi. The conference was at the newly constructed Engineering Complex amphitheater.

The conference covered a variety of topics including;

  • Food Safety, Security & Agribusiness.
  • ICTs including Big Data, Artificial Intelligence & Mathematical applications.
  • Minerals, Mining, Materials Engineering & Design.
  • Climate Change, sustainable Blue & Green economy
  • Health interventions for sustainable development amidst global crises’
  • Social science Research in the Innovation Ecosystem.
  • Innovative pedagogies in STEM/STEAM Education amidst global crises’
  • Business, management and finance.
  • Public policy and governance.
