Tech Convergence: Fostering Interdisciplinary Collaboration for Innovation
Day 2
Day 2 of the breakfast meeting was a resounding success. Dons drawn from the school of Computing and informatics and school of Engineering and Architecture. The gathering was a convergence of minds from different disciplines, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among experts in these fields. School of computing is the anchor that supports all the other schools in all technology related solutions. On the other hand, school of engineering and architecture should offer support in hardware fabrication. Together, the two schools stand at the point of infusing technology into every other industry.

Key Highlights
Prof. Charity Gichuki, DVC, AF&P, making her speech, on the benefits of research in the modern era of being a lecturer. She also narrated how through research she learnt to appreciate the role each profession plays in disseminating research findings.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration
One of the key highlights of the meeting was the emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration between the School of Engineering and Architecture and the School of Computing and Informatics. This collaboration is essential in addressing complex challenges that require a combination of engineering, architectural, computing, and informatics expertise. By working together, researchers can leverage their diverse skill sets to develop innovative solutions that transcend traditional disciplinary boundaries.
